Died on 20th July 2008 at the R.S.C.H Brighton.He was a Dad,Grandad and Greatgrandad.
We had lost my Nan,(his reason for living) 2 years ago.He was broken hearted.
We found him collapsed at home and rushed him to hospital where he stayed for the last 4 weeks of his life.
He was a fantastic person and is so missed.
A POEM FOR MY GRANDAD
Words cant express the pain i felt,watching you slowly slip away,
I have the image and replay it in my head everyday,
The angels came and took you back to the arms of Nan,
We've lost and the've gained a wonderful man.,
Its where you should be though,i have no doubt,
The illness chewed you up and spat you out,
You're in no pain now,completely at peace,
Although my heartache will never cease.

hi les,i know your'e with nanny now.just where you want to be.i have so much respect for you.you were a great man.miss you and hope you think we done the right thing with you.thats one thing i want to know.i know in my heart you wanted to go.nanny was lucky to have you.love as always marmitxxxxx

U were a very special person to me and your great grandchildren jay and lexi, you was a fantastic grandfather and always was there to help and guide us in our times of need. When you were taken to hospital that day i really thought you would be coming home as you were one of the strongest people i know but sadly that didnt happen.4 weeks on you passed away from pneumonia., you now are reunited with your loving wife and my grandmother gladys whom we sadly lost 2 years ago. We cannot thankyou enough for everything that u done for that lady you treated her like a queen you was a wonderful husband to her.You are sadly missed by all the family and i just hope that you and nanny are up there having the time of your lives like you used to
